MMA, Mixed Martial Arts, is defined as a combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques, from a mixture of martial arts traditions, to be used in combat and competitions. The rules allow the use of striking and grappling techniques, both while standing and on the ground.

The reality of MMA is that it is a strategic and physical match between two or more combatants. It is far from the misconception that it is a brutal sport only for the few athletes who are willing to participate in it. MMA is a complete form of self defense and physical fitness with MMA practitioners being some of the best conditioned athletes in the world. They are strong, flexible, mentally tough, and have excellent endurance. Whether you are an individual that would like to pursue a career in amateur or professional mixed martial arts, learn MMA to master an effective form of self defense, want the physical benefits of MMA, or relieve stress and improve health, we have a program that is right for you.

We want to make it absolutely clear that safety is a paramount concern at our Academy. We stress constant professional supervision, the use of proper training equipment, and a controlled environment for all of our training. We understand that the majority of individuals that train in MMA are not looking for a career in Mixed Martial Arts but are looking for many of the other benefits; discipline, self confidence, respect to others, improved health, and reduced stress.
